Button that toggles between the Themes listing and the Mapguide legend.
In "Themes" mode, you can view all the 1,000+ layers available and select any of them to include on your map. Note that layers are not available for viewing at all scales. If the check box besides a theme is grayed out, you must zoom in further in order to add this theme to your map. You can see at what scale the themes are available by placing the mouse over the theme title, a small box will display the scale range at which the theme is available for viewing..
The "Legend" mode uses the standard Mapguide legend and allow you to turn on and off the layers and see the symbology associated with each layer. |

Function to change the hierarchy of the themes that you have selected. In the Mapguide legend, the layers are displayed based on a default hierarchy order. You may find useful to move a layer over another layer. Note: the layers are drawn from bottom to top. |

Tools to easily locate features on the map.
- Select a search category from the drop-down menu (categories include: place names, grid, streams, lake etc).
- Enter a text string in the "Location" box.
- Enter the width of the map in the "Zoom to width" box (this will determine how close you are zooming in), and hit the search button.
If the query returns more than one record, another screen will allow you to choose a feature from a list. The map will then zoom to that feature which will appear in the middle of the map window.
|

Function to locate a specific street address. This function is limited to FVRD at this point but CMN plans to extend this further as datasets become available. |

Option to save a custom map to your desktop for further use. |
