Southern Gulf Islands Atlas
Shorezone video imagery of 1155 km of shoreline in the Gulf Islands was collected in July 2004. The videos were recorded at zero tide and can be accessed on this atlas using the Video Tracking Tools. A geomorphologist and a biologist recorded their description of the shorezone characteristics during the flights which was used to generate the shorezone mapping products such as biobands, habitat classes, substrates, shore modification etc.
