of the University College of the Cariboo are pleased to announce the following
workshop:

Local governments, First Nations, provincial and federal agencies, non-government organizations, and industry groups throughout British Columbia are developing map-based resource information, document libraries, and field data collection methods to facilitate land use planning and resource management decisions at both the operational and strategic scales, on both private and Crown land, and within First Nation traditional territories. The time is right to share the excellent results of work done over the last few years and demonstrate how to access and update these Internet based systems.

The workshop will bring planners and decision makers together to learn what others are doing and see information services that are available through the Community Mapping Network, Natural Resources Information Network, Land Information BC, as well as from some First Nations, the consulting community, and non-government organizations.
